I have a MVP 3.0 and I'm not making contact with any atty. It's spring loaded so I'm wondering if the spring is worn down or if I can unscrew the top off and see what the heck is going on. It's fully charged.

Okay. Hubby took the top off. The positive red wire leading to the center pin can not be adjusted. For some reason he can't explain why the attys are not making a connection. So, I'll look for a dud on sale, a spare part top or just give/sell it to someone. They're still at a good price. It's fully charged, OLED is fine, blue color, and in really good condition. Love that it's 3800 mAh with that USB on the bottom.

Try gently prying up the center pin. Just a little bit. I read that they can sometimes get stuck.
I did. There isn't enough room even using a thin eyeglass screwdriver. I had the same problem with another mod I had...oh, it was a Vision Spinner. Could not get it to work. I don't use it. Got it in a trade and it worked at the time. And I do NOT want to have to deal with center pin springs again.
I'll look to see if a replacement center pin can be found or if someone on eBay is selling one for parts with a DOA battery or something.
