There are times where you purchase a juice that you REALLY enjoy and it just doesn't seem right. There can be MANY factors to this, the most common being the age of the juice. If your recent purchase is very fresh, it may require a short period of time to "steep" so that the flavors can come out properly.

More importantly, note that most, if not all juice makers source their flavorings from 3rd parties, and there ARE times where a vendor can get a "bad batch" or the flavoring company completely changed the makeup of the flavoring. We have had at LEAST 10 different flavorings that were changed by the vendor, with little to no notice to us. It can be a nightmare for a juice vendor if they have product going out that is not up to standards.

Basically, if you're not happy with a juice, ASK THE VENDOR! Most vendors will replace your bottle as a courtesy, and if it is an issue with the flavoring, they will be HAPPY that you notified them before they sell more bottles of the suspect flavor.

This is also a good testament for why ALL juice vendors should practice quality control and taste test batches at random, to catch these things before they become customer service issues...

Then there is just the time when it falls back to just the person vaping.

New to vaping, or just vaping "fatigue" will cause it, and it will come back.
Vaping too much of a certain flavor can start it too.
It can last for anywhere between a day or two and a week.
Remember, since you are vaping you need to drink more water. Sometimes just being dehydrated will cause it too.

The Fix

Mouth wash (if it wont help, at least your mouth is cleaner)
Eating Crackers
Smelling coffee beans
Mint
Lemon drops
Eating pickles

Anything to shock your taste buds into coming back, helps. changing out your juice you vape too, works, but it does take time.

Pickled ginger works well too.

Yes, olfactory fatigue is the proper terminology. It's related to your scent rather than your taste, so I'm not sure about the "fixes" but it's the same thing that makes a guy who empties port-o-potties not be able to smell their own shit...

The fixes do work. You want to "reset" the system.
Yes this subject can be a bit complicated, specially when it could either be self or juice.

Vapor tongue is why I run different tanks of juices at a time. Hard to get it if your fla vors are different. possible but I have had it lesser since I started that way.

But most important thing is to stay dehydrated...

I have yet to find a tank I like. I drip. I also do not have an all day juice.
It's why I have a serious flavor habit, due to me mixing. Most are not as lucky, I know.
Once you step inside of the diy of things, it is pretty simple, as long as you mix safe!

H2O is your best friend :)

PS does anyone know of a tank that has the airflow of a chaos dripper?
I think this is what frustrates me. I should Not have to vape a watermelon thru a bar straw. :D

I have an adv, but I find if I vape the same juice too long, even after having been a vaper for some time, I can still get wonky taste-buds...I generally take my adv to work and then rotate a few different juices during the evening and night...works well for keeping it all tasting good...and yes, hydration is key...the shit will dry you out...

The brain just gets "bored" with the same ADV ...it's like white noise.
Have you ever gone into a house that had a odor, and after being there a while, you don't notice it
Same thing ..brain got bored and it literally just shuts it off.
Variety keeps the brain interested ......
