My kbox blinked 3 times, no power. Found Fix

For future searchers just in case this has not been covered here (it probably has)...I found the answer elsewhere online. My kbox, upon pressing the fire button like normal, would not fire, and the lights blinked 3 times or so.

Turns out there is a white rubber grommet under the firing pin that gets worn out on this device. If you back off the atty a bit, ie, do not tighten it as much as you might normally, it will fire fine.

Perhaps it will need fixing permanently in the future but this works for now.

This has happened to me as well, and am using my backup til I get a new box mod. Now, I know there's a good couple videos out on YouTube showing how to disassemble and replace that grommet with one that comes on an original Kanger coil. The process doesn't seem overtly complicated, but for the price of the mod, I just don't even want to bother. If you're buying a K-Box, be warned that this isn't exactly an unheard of issue - it's fairly common, in fact. Not to dissuade anyone from getting one - while it works, it's simple and easy and works just fine. There are better devices out, however, that don't have such an easily-occurring problem.

thanks for the heads up. mine was doing this on the lake 2 weeks ago and I couldn't figure it out.
