Hi people.

My fiancee started vaping around a week ago, and I made her some 6MG to start with. She was a very light smoker, 5 roll ups a day, and she would throw around half away anyway, so more like 3 a day.

She started with 6 MG in the nautilus mini, but was only needing like 14 puffs to stop the craving, she said it was too strong so I made her up some 5MG juice to try instead. She said a bit better, but she is not sure.

Well, 2 days ago she had a tooth extraction, and you can't use straws for 24 hours. Where the nautlis is like a straw, and the lemo more like breathing with a half open mouth, I put the 5MG in the Lemo for her. She started choking, and I thought it was the slight increase in watts that caused this, so I tried it as I am used to 70+watts cloud chasing.

Even I choked on 5MG. It was far too strong.

I made her a 3MG juice up, tried it, and no choking. Same for her, no choking.

Well, yesterday she went back to the nautilus, and did not want the 5MG, she wanted the 3. I said are you sure? Will it satisfy your cravings? She said yes, as the 5 in the nautilus had been making her dizzy and a bit panicky, I gather that is a bit of mild nic sickness?

Well, the 3MG she now vapes about 20 or so tokes on the nautilus, and that stops her wanting a cigarette.

I think I just started her too high if I am honest, but am glad it is only 3MG she requires, as getting down to 1MG or so will be super easy( She wants to reduce as much as possible, but keep the 1MG for flavour.)

Even I am using 1MG for flavour, which you may find insane since I quit 10 months ago, but all the studies I have read seem to indicate nicotine alone is not addictive(But it works in a vape as you ARE addicted to it due to the other chemicals in cigarettes that makes your body crave nicotine), we get it in a lot of food products anyway, and the flavour it added I felt was worth 1MG of nicotine. I now understand what 'throat hit' is, I never experienced that before, and the nicotine just makes the flavour jump out tenfold. I thought it was worth the risk ( I know nicotine alone in a vape is not a carcinogen anyway, so even less worried).

Good for your wife!

I keep downgrading my nic levels too. I started at 8mg on a .5 ohm coil which was def a bit harsh but now I'm vaping 3mg at about 18 watts and i'm surprised that it satisfies my cravings.

You think 3mg would still taste good at 40 watts or so?
