I just got a merlin rta and put a SS316L fused clapton 3.5 dia @ .5 ohms in it and running it in TC and it is performing really good. I am liking it better than my Griffin 25 for flavor, the vapor production seems about the same.
I like building single coils and the deck is real easy to work with. The overall build quality of this rta is great.

As gtrpickr mentioned, the ss is currently $15.24

Yeah, it's a good tank. I have a SS316L staggered fused clapton @ .16 ohms in it now, but honestly think the SS316L clapton @ .54 ohms was better for flavor. Next time I replace the coil I'm going back to the clapton @ a higher ohm like I had in it before.

I also have the Griffin 25mm with the top airflow, but I just haven't figured out a build I like yet. I get decent vapor, but the flavor just isn't there. Still learning how to build coils so I'll get there eventually.

I like my Merlin,
but Griffin????
don't get me started, after hours of vicking and youtube videos, it still leaks and i get dry hits.
Hate this tank :(

Merlin? I'll have to check that out.. currently my fav RTA is the Sense RTA-2.. huge juice channels, large velocity style deck, 6 ml tank and awesome airflow..no leaks or dry hits.. :)
But I will check out that Merlin...
