Good evening everyone! Just a quick note before bedtime. I got my new mech mod, my Sentinel M16 today, & I have to say I am very impressed with it. The only drawback I found was it fried 2 Efest IMR 18650 batteries in shor order, even thought they WERE inserted the right way. I'm thinking I had a hard short somewhere, & after taking the mod apart and checking everything, I seemed to have fixed it. I've been using both of my Taifun GT's on it tonight with no problems, but I did put in 1 of my new CT-4 batteries instead.
A question I have now is can I use the CT-4's in my SVD as well? If not, then I've gotta buy 2 more Efest, or AW 18650's. I was planning on stocking up some CT-4's anyway, but I don't really know how long I can expect them to last before recharging is needed, but I'm sure I will figure it out. But so far I am very pleased with the Sentinel, & may entertain other options of more mech mods pretty soon. Was thinking of a Chi Yu, or a Nemesis, but the field is wide open for suggestions or reccomendations. I don't know everything about mechs, and the batteries yet, but I'm eagerly looking into more info, so I will understand and be able to utilize more of these great mods.
Ok, time for this old man to hit the hay, I've been in my woodshop all day working on orders for some customers, and that is what gives me great joy, being able to build things that people will use and enjoy for a long time.
