My ran-over Pico. Built like a tank.

So during the holidays I was out shopping for Christmas gifts. Towards the end of my trip I decided to visit a vape shop for some liquid. My mom stopped on the street (a busy one). My Pico was in a side pocket of my jacket. When I got out of the vehicle it fell out on the road. By the time I realized it was missing we were 40 minutes away.

I called my guy at the shop. I told him what had happened and asked him to look. He went out with a flash light but found nothing. We're talking Minnesota snow banks, ice, dirt, salt, ect. The next day a guy turned it in. He found it on the side of the street. I dont know how many times it was ran over.

I thawed it out and it still works today. The stuff on the glass is JB weld opoxy.

Ugly AF. Lol

So if you are thinking of buying a Pico, durability is solid. :giggle:

Personally, I wouldn't trust the whole thing not to explode in my pocket at some point. God knows what happened to the insides from the moisture and blunt force damage.

Take it easy guys. I dont use that tank, or the mod(but it works). The weld is on hairline cracks. I thought you guys would get a laugh out of how ugly it is. But yall some serious people. Whatever.

We're just thinking about the safety, that's all.

And yeah, it is pretty ugly but you could always sand off the paint and re-paint it or use a wrap or silicone sleeve thingie. :D

Yeah, that one is retired. I use these ones now. I wouldn't have even known what to get if it wasn't for this forum. I'm glad I found this place. The ones above work great.

That pink one in the middle doesn't. You should send it to me immediately. ;)

What????? You no likey my victorian lady???????????? Ohhhh my heart is broken!!!!!!!!!!!!:giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle:

I'm just in the less-is-more camp. ;)

BTW, before I got married, I bought my then-fiance a silver ring with our initials on it. He put it in his pocket one day while unloading groceries, and it fell out into the snow. He searched all over for it but couldn't find it. Three months later, he found it next to the curb, all smashed flat like it had gotten stuck in someone's tires and driven around town for months. I still have it in my jewelry box. :giggle:
