They say vaping is safer than smoking cigarettes. But vaping makes me cough when I take a drag. Cigarettes don't. So there is something that still isn't good with vaping. Also, vaping as it is known today only began in 2003. While smoking tobacco has probably been around for thousands of years. (In the Western Hemisphere) So it doesn't seem to me that having started in 2003 gives enough of a background to judge on how safe it really is.
I recently bought a vape pod. I have tried switching to nic salts and lowering the wattage on my vape pod. It still makes me cough a bit after I take a drag. For some reason, younger people don't seem to be bothered by the water smoke that comes from vaping. Years ago my niece offered me a drag off her vaping device. Who was of course much younger than me. Vaping it didn't seem to bother her. But when I took a drag, I coughed hard before I even got a chance to fully inhale the "water smoke." I have also seen younger people out on the street that were vaping. They exhaled a huge cloud of vapor smoke. It didn't seem to phase them in the slightest.
Maybe I just have overly sensitive lungs. Some years ago I had just recently gotten over the flu. I called a taxi to get a ride home. Which was about 2 1/2 miles away from where I lived. The taxi had an "air freshener" hanging from the rear view mirror. Which normally don't bother me. But I think because I had recently gotten over the flu, their air freshener caused me to cough from when I got picked up till I got dropped off.
Who knows. Maybe for the nic salts vape juice I got, 35mg of nicotine is still too high. Maybe I should try something that is around 18mg of nic salts. That is what my old freebase vape juice was. Which made me cough. Maybe if it was 18mg of nic salts instead, that will do the trick. Also, quite a few years ago I bought an electronic cigarette kit. It was one of those that looked like a cigarette. These days they call them cigalikes. The white part of it was the rechargeable battery. The filter part that screwed onto it contained whatever kind of vape material it used. When the filter part ran dry, you had to replace that part. It wasn't refillable. From what I remember, that didn't cause me to cough at all. Maybe I should try something like those again.
Somebody around here suggested that my UWELL Crown X vape pod wasn't the best choice for me. It could very well be that they were right. Whoever that was, and for anybody else around here, could you suggest a type of vaping device that would be as mild as that old "cigalike" system I used to have was like? Something that is both rechargeable and refillable? I don't like the idea of buying anything made of plastic that you have to dispose of when it runs out.
