This cape pen I have won't somewhat work its charged and has oil,itl blink when I try to use it but I get nothing.

The button blinks when you press it? If so, it NEEDS to be charged. I'm guessing you're using and ego type battery.

I'm gonna go with this - blinking light on an eGo battery (the sticks about the size of a Sharpie pen) means it needs to be charged...

^^^ This....an eGo batt that needs charged will usually display a red light. Blinking indicates a short. Clean your contact pin, but if it continues, you need a new battery.
