Name the TRUE manufacturer of an Authentic

We have a lot of discussion on clones vs authentics yet when I look at them all, I see so many manufacturers of these devices that I don't have a clue on which manufacturers are the true authentic device makers. If any of you know who was the original maker of the popular mods and attys, name them here (manufacturer, device make or model, etc).

I think OP was looking for the "manufacturer" name's of the authentics, not the creator/designer's brand. If I design an authentic mod today, I will have to hire a manufacturer to produce it, in which case I would not be the manufacturer.

I think Zens and GLV's are manufactured by the creator/designer. I think it is that way for a lot of the original PV's and RDA's.
