I have a istick tc40w and I dropped the unit And I broke the tank. The mod is still good. So a friend of mine who's a vendor hooked me up with an Atty to run till I can get me a tank again. But he says its best I learn how to build it so I can repair it my self. Along with the Atty he gave me the coils, idk what guage and some cotton. Can anyone send me a link or give me instructions on how to put it together?

Keep in mind I was running my mod at: 420°f, .13ohms.. What would be the proper wattage or settings for this?

I built the mini haze atty. I can get it to fire at 26w on VW mode and 200°F on TC. But as I'm taking a hit I can hear popping sound is that normal. Please keep in mind this is the my very first time building and I followed a YouTube tutorial.

The popping is usually just the juice heating up. That's normal.

Well, you're heating the coil at 420 degrees. ;)

But yes, it's normal for most mods to get warm under constant use. I'm not familiar with yours though. Someone else will have to weigh in.

Additionally, you'll need to find a setting that works for you. Start low, and step up a little at a time. And it may change from coil to coil, and with different juices.

The I stick 40TC ONLY does temp control at 40 watts and is not adjustable. That being said, if you can adjust the watts you are not in TC mode.
What kind of wire is the coil made of?
I used to have the 40TC and noticed the mod got hot especially near the top near the 510 connection.
Popping noise = normal
Good luck!
