What tank did you buy a coil for?

Also do you know which variant you bought like a code or something TF-Q2, X4 etc?

If it is a drop in coil it should be marked right on the side of the coil and check with manufacturers website for additional info.

Welcome @Patence and I hope you enjoy your stay!

How do I no if my coil is an ni200 or ti or steel
Hello Patence and welcome to the VU!

The coil will have etched markings on it that state the Ohms, manufacturer, recommended wattage, and metal type.
For example... stainless steel will have 316L or SS, Ni200 will have Ni

It’ll peak somewhere around 70-80w I imagine so after you have primed the coil adding juice to it ...filling the tank and letting it sit.... start lower say 40w vape until you see bubbles then increment by 10w each time until you reach your target setting

I find if you do it this way you break it in gently and you’ll get better run time out of it

(Also find it helps to pin the cotton on those coils)

Smok do write the best wattage range on their coils as well as the resistance so always check that ....:)

You will need to run that coil in Wattage mode and at relatively high wattage settings. Make sure you prime your coils by dripping some juice on the coils and on the juice inlets on the side of the coil. When you install the coil start at the low end of the power recommendations which I think is 50 watts and slowly work your way up until you find your sweet spot.

If you are seeing those settings you aren’t in power mode you are in temp control

in menu select the one for wattage and start with just “normal”

No problem don’t hesistate to ask if you’re not sure ....all the menus seem really complex at first ;)

The difference between that soft, normal, hard is smoks version of how they apply the wattage you set as you vape ...normal being in the middle of them all ...you don’t need to adjust the wattage to try these out see which one you like most and use that one
