Need Some Advice on what kind of coil to add to this...

So I started building a unregulated mechanical box and the power input will be a constant 12v with 16.5 amps. What kind of coils should I be adding onto this? Seems like it could backfire a lot easier than my previous 5v, 2 amp builds.

12 Volts
16.5 Amps
198 Watts
Room for almost any kind of coil as the atomizer has not been built yet

So did you build your own unregulated box mod? or did you buy an unregulated box mod? none of them should have a voltage of 12 a dual series will be 8.4 on full charge and a triple series would be 12.6 volts. The amps is decided by your build in an unregulated. also make sure you are using good batteries. If you are unsure what you are doing a regulated mod is much safer to start with

Im replacing the battery's with a wall socket cable, I did a smaller version of this but cant find anything about mods with both amps and volts this high, just wondering what kind of coils to place on this. Planning to use this to vape while gaming. If it helps my other one was at 5 volts and 2 amps running a single coil at 2.5 ohms.

IDK why you would do that but someone here id that before. I can try and dig up the thread give me a minute

How do you propose holding 12volts at 16 amp continous... unregulated?
Assuming possible...
I would start by modeling some builds in Steam-engine. I'm thinking some catapillar of a Clapton build. 200 watt vaping not my thing.. that's about 4x higher than I think anyone should need without a competition involved. I don't like the taste of E juice that much.

12 volts = car battery. Damn..
I thought my Cricket hit hard..
I'm fine at 8.4v.
My ADV is even lower.

Well an old xbox cable was about the only thing i could butcher, dont have LiPo battery's and had about 10 bucks to spend on this so... i went for that, just waiting on my 510 connector to get here...

Its basically a power supply that connects to a wall wart and then downsizes the volts a lot, i just dont want it blowing up in my face...

Cool.. pictures?
BTW..
I wasn't knockin ya'. I was just sayin'. 12v.. damn.
I work at a shop and always stress safety there and also here.
Nobody wants you to blow your face off.. :)

The volts aren't the issue...... just because you are using high voltage .... doesn't mean you have to draw high amps. Produce high watts or have to use low ohm coils.

The issue to me is supplying the volt at a safe amp rate. I'm not convinced an Xbox supply can do that. But i am also not an electrician.

If the OP can make this work. I might even try it. Save me from using up batteries. Just sitting in my fave chair.
