Need your opinion on color

Hi guys! This might seem like a stupid question but I'm really undecided as to which tank I should pair my blood red lavabox with. It's a really nice color for a mod but pairing it with a tank is a pain. So which one do you guys think look better on it:

The ss version?

I normally use a Black Aromamizer Supreme Lite on mine. I think since the Face-plate and grip are Black it looks better.

Okay, I guess black it is. Thanks so much, for your opinion everyone! I just see paint chips on the black serpent mini. Doesnt look as clean as when i bought it leading me to gravitate towards the ss version earlier. I hate it when black tanks scratch...

Yep, stainless will always look good. Colored atomizers look cheap to me even before the paint starts to come off.

I agree. Even the fit and finish aren't the same. Everythings just smoother and better (i dunno how to explain it ) on ss tanks.

I have both, the ss version was originally paired to my black and silver pico. The black one i bought along with the lavabox. Paints chipping off though and it seems like im gonna need a new black tank soon...

True, i think the ss would look great on a white mod

I've never heard of anyone having an issue with Black Aromamizer Supreme's (Steam Crave). Not all Black attys are equal. They tend to be a little more expensive but the quality, machining, flavor, etc are top notch. I have quite a few Black Supremes (7ml) and Lites (the Lite is the smaller version - it's a 23mm RTA that comes with a 5ml and 2ml tank and chimney in the package). I use the full size (25mm - comes in a 7ml and 4ml size - just taller) and the Lite for my smaller mods. I have both Black and SS in both versions and all of them look as good as the day I bought them. They are my favorite RTA's.

Thank you, steve! I'll have a look at the aromamizer. Been wanting to get that tank anyway, been hearing great stuff about it

You're welcome my friend. If you have a look in the VT133 thread you will see a lot of us use the Supreme (be warned it's a pretty long thread). You can always pop on over and ask if people like it and if anyone has had any issue with the finish on the Black. They really are nice tanks - I don't usually recommend tanks, but I'll recommend those without hesitation. Here's the link if you want to check it out:

It is really dependant on what YOU like the best, it is your mod after all :).

But, if it was me, I would definitely go with the black, matches the mod a lot better.

Haha! Yeah, i know i just tend to have a real hard time deciding between the two as the silver doesnt look as bad as i originally thought it would.

But yes, you are right. The black marches the mod a lot better because of the color theme. I guess i'll just use them both if my wife doesnt grab the ss one.

I think that would actually look great! An ss tank with red glass.. never thought of that.

Any idea where i can get a red glass for the serpent?

Haha, that is a problem- my partner also had a habit of nicking my tanks when I wasn't using them, she now has a growing collection of mods and tanks herself though.

You mentioned glass for the serpent mini, Fasttech sell replacement glass cheaply, I usually get replacements for my favourite tanks from there myself.

Haha! Yeah, my wife asked for the mini volt and the ss serpent, so i guess im just going to buy a nice black tank that doesnt chip. Until i find that though, guess im stuck with the black serpent.

But if i do get my hands on a red replacement glass,i might just pair that to the ss serpent and give her the black one instead. Thanks for the info, will look into fasttech. Been hearing good things about them as well

Will also check how the petri rta looks on it. I imagine an ironman-ish look since it's red, black and gold.
