Never happened before, Juice the consistency and look of something not too nice.

Hi everyone.

I have made myself up some Cola flavour Ejuice, that I really liked before, it is solub arome brand (I buy 100ML bottles of their concentrate, each flavour has not dissapointed me and it is super cheap, £9 for 100ML).

Now, I do use the heat method to steep my juices, as I always have done.

Well, I went to use the Coca cola today, and it was a milky white colour (I use about 1MG of Nicotine for flavour, so it does not really ever darken much, even with a long steep).

I went to fill my tank-and it come out thin, then thick, and had a few lumps, it looked like, not to be crude, but Semen.

Now, I FORGOT to put the bottle on my radiator over night, this usually gives about 4-5 hours of heat with the heating on a timer, and makes the juice taste good to me.

I have put it on the radiator now, and also added some more PG and VG as the flavour was too strong, 10% is nice, so it is at that now.

So, I just wondered has anyone else ever had their juice turn out with that consitency? It was VERY off putting to use, the only thing I can think is where I forgot to put it on the radiatior in my room (downstairs) and I sleep upstairs in the games room as it has a double fold out bed, that maybe my room got cold and this caused it to happen?

It was actually sticking to the inside of the bottle, in clumps at the top.

I have put it on the radiator diluted more, and it seems to be thinning out, but I just wondered if anyone has experienced this before, and exactly what causes it to become like that? It really looked like someone had bust a load in my tank.

Thanks to everyone that helps me, Conan.

Lumps  - don't vape that!
It sounds like the flavoring reacted to plastic somewhere along the line. Some cola flavors have a lot of citrus, which can do that. Try another batch in a glass bottle instead.

AHH-really, I did NOT know this, I have been vaping it diluted, as it removed the lumps!.

I will throw this straight out. It tasted a bit 'chemically' to me, but I have had this with melon before, and was thought it was because it was made too strong!

Crap, have I been inhaling plastic fumes?

I am actually quite worried now, I have used about 10ML of the bottle, could this cause any significant harm?

Crap.

Oh my god.

I have just made up the same flavour, into a glass bottle, and heated it for 4 seconds just to thin the juice to give a shake.

IT DOES NOT TASTE OF CHEMICALS.

So, the Melon I have that tasted of chemicals, this that tasted of chemicals, it has all been plastic.

I am stunned.

I only have a few glass bottles, what type of plastic is safe to use heat with, and where can I order empty glass bottles in the UK?

Thanks everyone. This has me VERY worried.

I would recommend heating only in glass myself. Until you get more, you can repurpose washed glass bottles such as the small 30ml liquor bottles, etc, that you may already have.

Don't panic . First of all, you found the problem and know how to recognize and avoid it now. Second, vaping doesn't get liquids hot enough for combustion, so you weren't inhaling burning plastic (which is certainly something to avoid). You're sure not the only one to ever use plastic bottles and get that chemical flavor, so keep calm and vape on with some glass bottles. :)

Thank you :).

I have ordered 6 30ML glass bottles, with drippers, from Argos of all places!

I have also ordered some new plastic bottles with nozzles, as some of my tanks cant be filled with a pipette, they need that small nozzle.

So, I will make my juices in the glass bottles, then put them into the plastic bottles when fully cooled, and hopefully never have this happen again.

I am glad I wasn't inhaling burning plastic, but still not to healthy I would imagine to vape the stuff either lol.

Thank you for your help.

I just this second realized, I DID NOT actually use the heat method on this juice-I recall I meant to, but forgot, it was in my room the next day on my amplifier, but it still seems like the explanation of the plastic reacting with the juice is likely. I DID use heat when I diluted it though, and this actually got rid of the lumps, but I think if in doubt, chuck it out.

I have thrown out that bottle and juice, and have 6 30ML glass bottles on the way so this can never happen again.

My friend did suggest I buy my fiancee a DR Noah mech and give her the juice though lol.(Before he realised it was plastic-he wouldn't wish intentional harm on her).
