I have seen it online that is it. I seen a couple group buys to get in on one but I would like to see one in person because the rendering looks kind of ugly to me and I am curious if feels or looks as cheap in hand as it does to me in the rendering. jmo. I would also like to know what chip is in it as I have not seen that listed yet.

If you order one from eciggity they always have a 10% off code and free shipping. I bought my ipv3 from there and I am totally happy with the store.

Me too! Eciggity is great, but I'm gonna do like was suggested and that is to wait on reviews before I decide to order one.. Seeing one in person might be harder at my local B&M..seems vapers are going in to try out their $150 mods and wind up ordering the same mod online saving a ton of money...pissed my local shop off and threatened not to have any more mods on display that doesn't sell..makes sense to me, lol

B&M's need to be competitive. Knowing the markup they make, selling mods for a *little* more than online sales would still generate a lot of profit, just not the 80% to 150% they are accustomed to. The bulk of sales at B&M's are juice, followed by starter kits, both have large profit margins.

Remember how bad the Sigelei renderings were? It didn't turn out so bad ;)

True enough. I figure the final released product has to look a lot better, or at least I am hoping though because the rendering is reminding me of the God Mod look. Wait and see I reckon.

People used to go to Best Buy and look at the phones, computers, TV's, and audio systems and demo them, play with then go online and buy their selected piece(s) of electronics for 25%-50% cheaper then Best Buy. It took Best Buy nearly going bankrupt for them to figure out that they had to be competitive with online retailers, now they are.

I was just at my local shop on a juice run..indeed he pulled all those $150 mods off the shelf..too bad he couldn't lower his markup some.. This a strictly B&M shop..no online sales at all..he does have very good juice and prices are reasonable..bet he'd sell a lot of juice online..

You might try the vendor or where you bought it..don't know about the mini but I was told my IPV3 has a one year warranty and the repair shop is here in California... wish I could help more..

Even before that folks would go to BestBuy to actually research products by talking to some reasonably informed salespeople. Then off to WalMart.

$94 or so at Eciggity

Hmm.. not as bas I thought.. but still a little more than I expected.. I was hoping for around 75-80$ especially with the price of the Sig.. I would think this is their main competition and the price for the Sig100 will probably drop even more over the next couple months.. I'm still going to wait for a ton of good reviews or the inevitable v2 that will come out soon enough lol. Too many issues with the ipv2's and 3's on release

Absolutely no issues at all with my two IPV3's...dual batts go a long ways vs single batt in the V2..shown here with a .27 build in the dark horse and the .5 ohm Atlantis...I got these two from AtoZ Vapor for $108 apiece and came with a one year warranty.. I'm very happy with them..best mods I've owned to date..
But I'm like you, I'll wait on reviews on the IPV4..thinking about getting my little sister one as an upgrade from the IPV2..
she complains the Atlantis kills her batt in less than 6 hrs of vaping..

Yea i agree - the battery life on the .5 builds go pretty quick on a single 18650 - I think the next one I get will be dual just for this reason. and I don't really go past 25 watts

I never say never, lol
The sweet spot on my .5 Atlantis is 35-40w..its great!
But on the .27 ohm build in the Dark Horse it absolutely ROCKS
at 75-80w..that's the beauty of these mods..being able to dial in the very best possible vape, no matter if it's a tank or RDA..something I could only dream about using a mech..lol

Well, a shining example of competition. Your B&M refused to compete. I have a local exactly like yours. I stopped buying anything but disposable coils and juice, from them. No body will pay 200-300-up to 600& mark up. Juice makes them huge profit margins. They just can't do the same with mods and accessories. Juice is harder to get what you like. Mods are mods. those are a global market.

But I agree with Zam. If B&M's would mark them up at a better rate, most would buy local. So, they will make NO money instead. great idea of diversification of sales....

i agree. my only local b&m is absolutely crazy on their mark ups. they want you to pay $1.25 for what they say is A1 Kanthol. problem is, it's not nearly as shiny as kanthol i've gotten from other sources. they never have 24awg either. I've seen the website they order from. even without the wholesale discount i can order way way cheaper than buying in store even with shipping. that's bad cause i supposedly get a family discount!

$1.25? LMAO! What a rip off! You can get Kenthal on Amazon (lightning vapes) for 7 bucks for a 100 foot roll.
Yup, that a whopping 7 cents a foot.

My b&m wants a .50 a foot for kanthal its nuts but they sell gplat at a $1 a foot so when I wanna splurge I buy 7 feet lol .I use it for when I'm on a mechanical kick but I've found nichrome 80 is just as good.

Oh wow, that looks pretty snazzy. I've been thinking about a Sig 100W+ but may have to wait and see how these are when they are actually released. Price seems right and it looks like it's more ergonomic than the Sigelei. I've got big hands though, which is one of the big reasons I'm thinking the 100W+ it just fits so nice!

I dunno .. I find Pioneer4U boxes to be very budget-ish in quality. While I felt the IPV Mini body was right in line for its price point, I don't feel like the higher wattage boxes are as much .. but that is just my opinion.

Why is that?? Just curious.
Multi-cell packs like this need to be balance charged. That is, they have to be treated as individual cells when charging, so as not to let one cell get over-charged due to the other one having a problem. Otherwise, lithium batteries can "misbehave".

I think the ipv3 good for the price point it is currently, at least my version is, but I paid 130.00 in September. Price of lacking patience I suppose. The ipv4 though will be dropping in anther 1.5-2 weeks and we will see first hand and get a better idea on the mod. I have little interest in it other than curiosity though.

Yihi supposedly came out with a better charging board a couple months ago and the ipv3 was suppose to be able to be retro fitted with one, but I am doubtful of a dual batt in mod charging system at this point in time. A non issue for me though as I simply remove batts, and now that the 4 comes with magnets maybe everyone will fall in love with the 4 lol.

It comes with the yihi SX330 V4 chip with temp control it goes up to 100 watts but there's a rumor that it's upgradable to either 200 or 250 watts with firmware that was supposed to be available April first, but can't say for sure what the upgrade will be or not be but the SX330 V4 chip is sweet and I've pre ordered my IPv4 already but the ship date keeps getting pushed out , I hope it ships soon cause I want to try my aspire Atlantis and kangertech subtank mini on this mod, even if it is upgradable to the higher wattage I probably won't need it as 100 watts is way more then I need for my vaping, anyway it's a good looking mod and I can't wait to try it out and I'll let y'all know how it compares to our other mods, we have a Joyetech eVic supreme, SMOK XPRO BT50, IPV mini, and a one other mod I can't remember the model of right now, so I hope this will work as good as our others do?

Thanks Bill. Yeah at the time I typed that the info on the ipv4 was limited. Since then they disclosed the board and the specs and I still had little to no interest, and then they said it was coming with a TC and I became more interested.

I doubt that the rumors of 200-250w is true since going by their upgrade history they typically move in 15w increments and fizzle out out after an upgrade because new mods take precedence. The ipv2s got a 15w upgrade as did the ipv3, but I could be wrong much like with my prediction previously in this thread about the ipv4 releasing in 1.5-2 weeks lol.

My experience with Chinese pre-orders are that the dates get changed multiple times but it will happen so patience is required.

I ended up going the SX Mini M class route rather than p4y ipv4. I know it is less watts and less batteries but it is the top tier board and it is being compared to Provari build quality and I have yet to hear anything negative. I was trying to hold out on the SX to see how the ipv4 TC was received and to see what other mods the sx350j chip was going to end up but I caved.

Hi
They might come in different colors in the future maybe, but right now
It's either the black or silver options... I pre ordered the silver face/black "taco shell" batt cover option...already have a black IPV3 ...lol
Figured later I could order a skin if I didn't like the looks that much...
Right now I'm anxious to try out the new technology in temp control.... See for myself if it really makes a difference in the quality of my vape.
Almost ordered the SX mini but couldn't see paying $200 for a single batt mod, even with TC ...but I do hear folks really like'um..
For $80 the dual batt IPV4 was a lot easier on my wallet, and with the new TC technology I thought it to be a great value, least wise on paper! Lol
