New Aspire Atlantis not firing?

hi guys. I recently got a kanger kbox 40w and works perfectly with my dark horse rda. I got an aspire Atlantis 2 and switched to a .5 ohm coil. I hit it and there's proper airflow and I get not vapor. Any suggestions? Maybe there was a part I didn't take out or.. I can put My ear right next to it and crank it up to 40 and get nothing

Sounds like a bad 510 connection to me. Do you have another mod to test the tank on?

Are you getting the "check Atomizer" on your mod when you try to fire?

Sounds like a connection issue..is the bottom center pin pushed up too much?

It worked fine on my mech, a little burnt which is norm, Now it just blinks on my kanger kbox when I try to fire it.

Update I got it to stop blinking, but now it's back to the same. Just doesn't fire.

So, the box mod will imply that it is "firing" but the juice isn't heating up basically. It worked on my mech, but I'm scared of mech mods lol.

Have you checked the pin on your mod? They use a spring loaded center pin to transfer the current. Sometimes those pins can get stuck. Take some kind of pokey thing and push it down, it should be firm but have some give. If it's not pushing down it might be stuck in the down position, so try and wiggle it around a little and see if it pops up some. Maybe try measuring the distance down to that pin and the length of your atomizers connection, the atomizers connection should be a tad longer.

Another option, if you have a friend with their own mod, or if there is a vape shop you frequent maybe you can get someone to let you try using it on their mod, see if it works and maybe it's just your mod that's a bit messed up.

Problem with mass production is sometimes there's flaws and sometimes they get past quality control. Often they'll still work, but just not perfectly so that could be it, that the pin on your mod is just slightly too short, or the opposite and your tank is slightly too short so it's not making a solid connection with the mod.

I haven't used any mechs so not sure about this but with mechs don't you adjust the pin on it to be able to have a secure connection to your atty. Could you have damage the atty pin by doing that and have to repair the pin. Was just wondering. Being able to adjust pin on a mech the atty is able to perform correctly. So definately check your mod and make sure its connector is able to reach atty pin.
