But it IS a reminder that we came from somewhere else. I vented just like everyone else at first, but then I just wanted to be a VU member. Some points were made in "that thread" and one of them was us carrying around our ECF baggage, and I guess the badge is the biggest piece of baggage. I thought it was cool at first, but I don't want it if it's going to make people think less of me, or say I'm retarded for being on that other site for so long. We're still going to mention that other site (I'm not typing it, so it won't come up in a search and offend anyone) because we lived there for so long. I was there a year and a half almost, but some people were there way longer than that. It's like telling someone never to mention their ex-spouse. Sometimes that's easy, and sometimes it's not. It was a part of our lives, for better or for worse.
