I Don't need no stinking badges !!!
I've been a member for about a year or so. Check the forums several times a day. Enjoy hanging out here. That said now to rant !!
I thought the badge thing was pretty cool. I try to help out where ever I can and inject a bit of humor to. I have slowly been increasing my message totals and likes received. Was pleased when I got to bronze contributor.and looked forward to achieving the next level. Lately I can't help but notice members of only a few weeks with bronze or even gold status. Lots of post but a low liked ratio. Gotta wonder what the contribution is other than filling the forum posting stats. The badges just don't mean anything anymore. Feel free to remove mine.

Basically the member badges give you an indication of how long a member has been here and how active they are on the forum.
For example, someone wants to sell something. Would you be more likely to trust a brand new member (who may have just joined only to sell their stuff) or someone that has been around here for a while and actively participates in the forum?
I have almost earned the coveted, ( Reply @ Your Own Risk ) Badge. RJ keeps turning me down when they vote on it.

officially my reviews are on https://www.youtube.com/user/TheLordmage and spread out in the video or written review section of VU. don't do that many but when i get a request i tend to try and fulfill it
I stated reviews on my YouTube channel a little while back, but I only have about 6 videos up as of now.
Having problems with my audio at the moment.
I have also done a written review here on VU, but again I'm new to reviewing.
