DittoSony VTC4 if he vapes over 120 watts often. I suggest Samsung 25R as the best all around battery. They last longer and the pulse rating is such that it won't be a problem to go over 120 watts from time to time (most folks don't vape that high). What ever you buy they need to be in pairs ie: 2-VTC4, 2-25R's or 2 whatever you buy and at least a 20amp rating. I would suggest Liionwholesale.com as a trusted vendor and with 2 you get a free case. I would only go with Sony, Samsung or LG as they make the battery's that everyone else re-wraps. You want flat top not button top battery's.

No they are not clones the VTC5's are back they really never went away Sony never made batteries for commercial (consumer) reason only Industrial once they are sourced again up again we have them again ..
