New Box Mod

Can someone recommend a box mod for me? Ive used Mechs before but never a box. (Nemesis, Sentinel). I think the best thing for me would be a parallel mod. I'm not really looking to cloud chase just something that doesn't have to rely on electronics. I would like for it to house 2 18650's and be small and compact. I love the way the NC looks but Im getting a little scared off by the Hybrid and the fact that its a series mod. Just looking for something that will last as we head into the vapeocalypse.

Amazingly light. Lifetime warranty. Great boxes. I have a V3 in red I'm fixing to sell. Even if you don't buy from me they're great boxes. I'd recommend them to anyone.
Nice looking box, but that's an unregulated not a mech isn't it?

I bought myself a Tres Equis clone, like it so much I'm grabbing a second. I was contemplating the Dos Equis but with how compact the Tres feels (batteries set in a triangle) I figured why not grab that extra battery for safety/life. As far as Dual I know a lot of people like the Castigator, don't have one myself though.

In that case, IMO, it is better to get a mech mod. You don't have to worry about electronics failing. If anything fails in the mech mod, it should be replaceable.
As for the NC, you could use a heat sink w/ either spring loaded, or at least adjustable pin, in order to avoid the safety issue you have with hybrids. Another option would be the Lucifer mech box mod. It can be configured to be a series, or parallel mod. In addition, it has an adjustable pin in the 510, so no worries about hybrids. I have a clone from FT that's working just fine. It came pre-configured as a series mod. It looks like you'd have to take the mod apart, in order to re-configure it to a parallel mod, with the supplied parts. I'm still running it in series.
