I used 32g wrapped 26 Clapton parallel with 28g kanthal, is this a bad idea? Ramp up is slow and it seemed like only the 28g was heating up. Maybe I need higher wattage? Another weird thing is one mod claims .24 ohm and my other reads .33 ohm. Usually my mods are very close but this build is different. Any tips are appreciated. Was thinking of just ripping out the 28g and use Clapton but well see.

Other way around would probably work better. Stage it with 24 or 22G instead of 28 and play with your wattage. Steam-engine can save you a lot of time.

sounds like you have a bad connection. also with claptons you need more wattage to get them hot. what wattage do you normally use. what RDA and mod?
40-60 watts so far but I'll try higher. I'm using a sapor rda and cuboid also use a cool fire 100 ssometimes. I'll have to grab some thicker wire as well thanks. I just grabbed 28 to try it out
