new coil wierd after taste and very low flavor

So first ive only baped for about 2 weeks and went to change my first coil. Ifnim not mistaken somehow to prime it i drip the juice in the top of the new coil and screw it in then screw it back to my tank take a few hit WITHOUT firing it and let it sit for like 30 minutes. So thats what i did and afterward i hit my vape and it has bery little flavor and some hits have none at all. There is also a wierd nasty aftertaste on some hits. Did i do something wrong ? Also it is a .6 coil running at 60 watts. The first coil that came with the tank was perfectly fine. Also seems to produce less smoke than before. Sorry if this is a repost or anything all the answers i got were to prime it and believe i did.

Turn it down some, gradually progress. Stay hyrdrated. If they're cotton coils, they sometimes need breaking in. It's also possible you have a touch of vaper's tongue.

Sorry im new. What is vapers tongue? And i think i have broken it in. I vaped a full herakles tank and the after taste isnt as bad as at first but still i feel as though its not right.

Ok i think it is vapers tongue sadly. Thank you so much for your quick response and helping me out!!!
I take it that you read about vaper's tongue. It sucks while it's going on, but it WILL go away. In the Vaping Health section there are lots of threads, tips and things to help, possibly. For me, time was the only thing that helped, and staying hydrated. Good luck!

So just to add my friend hit the vape to check and he also said it had very little flavor so im not sure if its still vapers tongue or not. If it is im sorry for asking but is there anyway if could be the tank as in doni need to clean a certain part of it or something?
