Eleaf is Joyetech. Under the same parent umbrella.
True, but there's a big difference between the two product lines. It's fair to compare them. I actively avoid Eleaf mods while Joyetech mods are my favorites. They may be owned by the same parent company, but the two product lines have very different reputations.Eleaf is Joyetech. Under the same parent umbrella.
Yes they are the same company but supposedly targeting different market segments or needs, in the past they were producing totally different products, but in this generation since Joyetech/Wismec/Eleaf all started using the same exact board and firmware, it all comes down to different design concepts and form-factor, size, weight, Battery configuration, screen size and placement, choice of buttons, USB port location, etc ...
Since all these mods perform identically, charges and discharge identically, it all comes down to design, and i believe Eleaf wins this round despite their past reputation, coz that is not relevant anymore since they started using the Joyetech board, non of their past characteristics carry over in the new products, like catching fire while charging for example.
What do you mean? Joyetech does not have a long history in the box mod market, probably their first serious mod was the Evic VT, followed by the VTC Mini, not what i would call a rich history, Eleaf has upped their game very significantly with the TC100W and the Pico, shows how innovative they are getting, if you were the kind of guy who would consider a company's historic reputation you would not have owned a P4Y IPV5, would you? You're basing that off the rich history of two designs, one released less than a year ago and another just a couple weeks ago?
They will sell good. Fastest selling mods in our store is the Cubiod and VTC Mini. Can not keep them in stock. I own Cuboid, VTC Mini, and VT. I wont be buying on of these for myself as it is not needed. Internal battery for me is a no go. My first question when I seen them was what if tank goes off centre when threads get worn. This video addressed that problem. Joyetech is on top of there game right now with everyone chasing them from behind. I do like the Joyetech AIO for beginners new to vaping. Just wish they could address the small flooding issue when you first drop the coil down into the juice with these style of coils and tanks. I dread the first five vapes installing the coil after filling. Gives me heartburn from spiting in my mouth. Lowering the coils really slowly helps but sometimes I forget. LOL CHEERS!
