New "flavor"

So guys, I have been diying for a year and a half or so and i have yet to find a flavor which i can vape everyday for longer than a month or so. Until this past month, i had been surfing online recipes blah blah blah when i came across a post which pointed out how strange it is that we demand such elaborate flavors from our vapes. So i mixed up a 50 ml of 6mg base and just vaped it alone. And you know what? Its simple, its like vaping a smell free cigarette. I'm really digging it to be honest. Also it let me taste my base which i had never done before, not what i expected, the nicotine is a bit peppery but oh well.

And on a side note when my buddy asks what the flavor of the day is i get the secret satisfaction of telling him "pepper". lol.

I know several people who only vape unflavored. For a while I had one of my REOs loaded with unflavored, but I'm a flavor chaser and got bored with it after a while. I have nine mods sitting in front of me right now, each with a different flavor. Vaping the same flavor all day, day in, day out is just not my style. I do have certain flavors that I always have loaded in a mod, but I cannot vape one flavor all day without changing. The ADV thing is a holy grail that just cannot be found for me anyway.

That being said if unflavored works for you, go for it. It certainly is easier to mix and no steeping is required.

I was lucky enough to find my present ADV 4 months after I started vaping. It's Halo's SubZero. Most people I've let try it just give a look like "WTF, you vape this? All the time?". But it continually works for me. Every other flavor I've ever tried to vape for more than a few weeks just irritates the hell out of me.

Oh, I've been vaping a little over 3 yrs now...

I think when you get deep into DIY you can no longer have an adv since you have the opportunity to make something new all the time. I have mixes I can vape all day for multiple days in a row, but why do that, there are a ton of other mixes ready to vape you can fall in love with.

Since I travel for work a fair number of times per year I now have mixes that are classified as...I can only pick three to take so I pick the tried and true mixes that make me happy happy. And maybe one that I am most excited to try.

Why does one need to vape one flavor all day every day for a month straight? Sounds pretty damn boring to me. Your body will become 'desensitized' to it and it wont taste as good after a while. Just like eating spicy or peppery foods, the more you eat, the less you taste. Happens with everything. Vape a high throat hit liquid and you might cough the first time, but after a while you get used to it and it stops bothering you.

Forget about a month, I've never vaped one flavor for a day straight.
I'll drip a drastically different flavor once or twice every few hours just to keep from becoming too used to the first flavor.
