Been sub ohming since early summer. And time is now for learning to mix my own.
What I noticed so far that might impact the recipes and or the flavor:
When I first did e-cigalikes a few years back I had a cappuccino juice I like a lot. So I am looking to make a great coffee juice. Does not have to ba cappuccino, could be espresso, whatever coffee or even related flavors like irish coffee or Irish Cream. Thinking it over I probably would like to have an Irish Cream (baileys) vape on its own. I've seen various recipes for all of those, but not one tells me if there are color added, how the juice will affect coils and how the vaping feels. Like if it is smooth or more of a throat hit.
Then I need a tobacco taste too, just because tobacco tastes dang good as a 20 a day smoker for more the 30 years. I've seen dozens of variations, some with caramel and vanilla added etc. Same goes here. Except for the recipe itself there is not a whole lot of information. Again, color, taste profile, throat hit and how juice threat my coils.
Then there is this mango juice I like a lot. But when I searched for DIY mango tastes I found that many are reported stale or too tasty.
My goal for these juices are to get enough nicotine to get relaxed and get that nice feeling going that we get from our analog cigarettes. Yet with smooth flavor and smooth vaping feel.
Direct links to various recipes does not help me much, what I am after if peoples favorite recipes for these categories along with some descriptions of how you feel the juice you present taste and feel. Any side notes like does the amount of nicotine change the taste or the feeling when vaping.
Looking forward to hear from experienced vapors what makes a good vape experience for them and what of these categories they do vape regularly or at least once in a while.
Summary:
Will using a magnetic stirrer help to blend items in the juice? Or maybe help curing the juice for best possible taste? I see some recommend heat for 15 minutes. Can magnetic stirrer help to prevent the heating part?
What I noticed so far that might impact the recipes and or the flavor:
- Dual coil @.3 ohm seems to be my choice of tank setup with plenty of vape
- Prefer smooth e-juice so more VG then PG
- Taste should be toned down as to not be overwhelming also favors VG
- Good airflow = nice
- Prefer top air flow as well as bottom to cool vape
- Vape production over flavor cos many juices are too tasty for me
- Looking to make juice that are colorless if possible
- Will use nicotine strength to be determined 3-6 mg will probably do it
- Looking for natural flavor, natural products and pharmaceutical grade nicotine preferrable
- Prefer e-juices that goes easy on the coils as well as the lungs *no coughing*
- Do more direct lung hits then mouth to lung, but even with low ohm coils I can't stop MTL from happening - smokers reflexes I guess
