Hi. I'm in my 40s and decided to quit smoking cigarettes (a pack or more a day) a couple of weeks ago. I meekly went into one of those tobacco store places and bought a $30 vape pen thingie and some lovely vanilla ice cream liquid. I haven't had a cigarette since! Sooo...today I went to a different store (weird vibe at the first one) and bought a Kanger Topbox Nano starter kit. It's pink like nobody's business, and the guy gave me some gross cherry lemonade liquid (probably because it's also pink?) that I'm not sure how to get rid of. I'm not a pink kinda person. Idk. I'm completely out of my element, but I'm trying to learn and get more comfortable with this, because I don't want to be a smoker anymore.

Welcome and great you decided to quit the analogs. Takes a little time and research, but before you know it, you will find a flavor you like and you will have a few different mods and tanks and be talking vape with other people trying to quit. This is a great forum and also might check youtube for informative videos and reviews of hardware and juices, etc.
Welcome Tipsey! Just ask any questions you might have, read around about different juices people are into and take your time. I smoked for 30 years, it took me about 3 weeks to finally give up cigarettes. Once you find a flavor, or a few, you really like, it keeps getting easier. Hang on to the juice you're not crazy about, it might develop into a better flavor over time, or you can pass it along to someone that might enjoy it.
Most vape shops have a tasting area where you can sample all the flavors they carry. They have everything set up for you and you can sample til you find what you want. Sometimes it just takes a bit to find just the right one.
