New-ish to building, need advice

So I am just getting more into building and growing tired of just doing traditional coils. I have 24g kanthan A1 wire to build coils for my istick 100 with mutation x v3. I need some help with what builds I could do with the supplies I have or minimal extra. So what does the VU suggest for low ohm builds with my set up? Instruction for said build would be much appreciated.

I tried a 5 wrap twisted dual parallel the other night, and my ohms were coming at .14 which as you know is too low for my mod.

i started with that same spool of wire

my first thought would be to try dropping a wrap, or experiment with single coil builds.

my second thought would be be to get a couple more spools of wire. that way you can really start experimenting with some different combinations. for me, i added a spool of 26N80 and a spool of 32K. with these two additions, parallels and Claptons can now be added to your building list.

So your saying drop a wrap of the twisted parallel? On a single wire dual set up, I run 10 wraps per side and have .43-.45 ohms. It's pretty decent vape, puts out a decent cloud and has good flavor. Just looking to improve my experience ans see where it takes me.

yup. drop a wrap or decrease the i/d (and keep the 5 wraps) of your coil to remove some of the wire.

For right now, with what you have, a twisted dual coil build is your best bet. NOT paralleled.

Triple twisted, 3.0mm inside diameter, 5.5 wraps will put you at about 0.17Ω for a dual coil build.

If you need a bit higher resistance, add one more wrap, or more if needed.

Thanks for all the replies. I will mess around with it more this weekend when I have the time.

I will try out the triple twisted build and see what I think about it. I am really looking for a good cloud(not really a chaser, but I do love a decent cloud) with good flavor. Would this be a good set up?

A twisted wire will improve vapor and flavor, due to higher surface area.
