Hello all,
I'm a relatively new vaper. Just over 3 months off the analogs. I got started with a Vision spinner II and some Protanks, then soon moved onto an istickTC40w and some subtank nanos, and I've been doing ok with this so far, and was looking into getting myself a little something better after Xmas.
Well, lucky me won a contest!! YAY! A Snow Wolf 200w. (yes I read all the stuff going on with the company pulling the warranty, but who am I to tip my nose at a free mod, right?)
So this will be my first experience with the whole 18650 battery thing, and I want to vape safe. I've been all over the place researching and ended up buying a Nitecore charger and a few Samsung 25r's.
Here's my dilemma. My order came in and there was a white sticker on the batteries, (chinese shipping label perhaps?) but when I peeled back the sticker instead of INR18650 25R, these batteries say iCr18650 30B. Red flags went up, I took a look at my order, made sure I didn't mess up and emailed the vendor. I have new batteries on the way (from elsewhere) and they already reimbursed me for the ICR18650 30b and said not to bother sending them back. Are these batteries even safe to use in the Snow Wolf 200w?
I vape at about 20w on my subtanks, and have never even played with the temp control on the istick, so I dont plan on doing anything crazy when the new mod comes in, but should I wait for the 25r batteries just to be super safe?
Any help understanding the difference between the batteries would be great. I cant find much information on them, so if they cant be used in a box mod my only other question would be.. where do you recycle these guys?
