New Mod?

I need some help y'all. I am getting a new electronic mod. I have had eleaf istick 20W, eleaf 60w TC (broke) soon after buying it, and joyetech evic vt (battery connector is broken). I don't need anything massive. I am MTL and I am using a kanger subtank mini with 1.5 coils. I do like to have a bigger battery though. I vape all day long, and I guess maybe chain vape, lol!! What mods have y'all had that have withstood the test of time?

Thank you in advance!

On the lower end, I have an Istick 100 watt with dual batteries - seems pretty solid to me. If I was going to get another box I'd go for the reuleaux rx200 with triple batteries.

Okay, how long does your istick 100W battery last? All day? The RX 200 is to much for me. I would never use all that power. I was looking at the new Kanger 70w 4000mah. Heard anything on it or Kanger in general?

I would look into this mod
The target VTC

It utilizes a new type of ceramic coil in the tank and has a 75 watt device that fits perfect in the hand

I got two weeks out of a coil when I usually get about 3 days on other tanks.

And flavor is 100 times better
And the device works perfect too with tc

That's just my suggestion I paid 70$ with priority shipping for the mod and the tank new

It might be worth looking at the Kanger Kbox 120w. It's a whole lot smaller than the iStick 100w and it supports all of the latest Subtank coils. You can use either one of these mods at low watts and enjoy the battery life of a dual 18650 mod. I'm not sure if the new Kbox 120w has step down but the iStick 100w does not. Just remember that you will need to use "paired sets" of 18650 batteries for any two battery mod.

On a closer look at your specific questions I see a few important things to consider and would like more information if that's ok.

I don't need anything massive. I am MTL and I am using a kanger subtank mini with 1.5 coils. I do like to have a bigger battery though.
Would you prefer a mod with an internal battery, like your iSticks, or would you be ok with a mod that uses batteries that you have to get separately?

What mods have y'all had that have withstood the test of time?
Would you prefer a mod that has been around a while for proven reliability, or are newer mods ok?

My IPV mini2 is a beast. Its rugged, has decent power and affordable. Old tech but tried and true.

Hard to say, because I vape 30ml a day. But probably around 10mls on a .25 ohm coil at 65 watts.

Kanger is usually reliable also - I just gave you the most inexpensive option, but there are many more!

Do remember that it's not so much the power as the battery life that draws many of us to multi-battery setups. For instance, I have a bunch of single battery mods, but I only get one tankful out of a single 18650 - which may be enough for many.

Hi Matty. Since your a mtl vaper and like that tank, you don't need a real powerful mod, but it might be nice to have a little extra power in case you want to venture into sub ohm vaping down the road. The Joyetech VTC Mini is a versatile device that could make that Subtank hum, and it has features like TC and upgradable firmware that would last you for awhile. Less than $35.00 at most online retailers.

The new Istick 100 looks real nice. Mike Vapes gave it a good review. Cool thing is you cans use 1 or 2 18650's, your choice. That's kind of neat.

Thanks y'all I will look at all the suggestions. My eleaf istick 60W has something wrong with the 510 connector. When you put the tank on it dims the LCD screen and when you hit the fire button it won't fire. I have been looking at the eVic Mini. I also like the Kbox 120W. So I have some thinking to do, lol!!

Something is shorting out. I had a flat pack coil...and probably some other related components... go bad in one of my mods and it made crazy things happen. Most notable were ohm readings would bounce all over the place, and now if I put a battery in it, it just fires. I hope my little istick lasts - I just got it and I really like it. It's brushed stainless, too.

I was recently doing research on a small mod and I would agree the evic TC mini is a very good option. And it uses an 18650 unlike its big bro! I couldn't really find any reports of problems with it... I almost got it but went with the Kooopor Plus. I will eventually get the evic mini, though. It seems very solid. If you're chain vaping, you might want to look at something that houses two 18650's or an internal LiPo, though. My little 60W istick is great little mod, so far, but it's really only practical when I can 't chain vape, eg, work. Pioneer4You and Sigelei are good brands, tried and true, in my opinion. VapeNW has the best prices, in some cases much better than FastTech. they sell the evic mini without it's companion tank, so that makes it a bit cheaper. Love that company.

I think I'm going to go with the kanger kbox 120W. I have always wanted a kangee mod, and always changed my mind at the last minute. It has two 18650 battery.
