Hey guys been a while since I been in here. Just bout to pick up my new setup from the box tomorrow. Just got one of those smok alien mods that hold the two 18650's and a tfv8.

Pretty interested in seeing how well this performs. Anyone have any experience with these items??

I'm using my Alien with a Big Baby Beast (not to be confused with the Baby Beast that came with the kit) and I love it.

Fairly small and light, good menu, well made and works great. No complaints at all from me. Great mod for sure.

The baby coils last a very long time as well. Expensive, but last longer than any other factory coils I have ever used.

I have 3 aliens. Other than really bad paint on the first one, they are great. Got the baby rba for it yesterday, and love it. I may never buy another stock coil again.

Only thing I don't like about mine is, in the sunlight you cant read the screen and you have to go through the menu to shut the mod off..Other than that I like it.

Have you tried adjusting the Contrast in the Settings? (Or are you the person having the dim screen issue?)
I never turn mine off unless I'm swapping batteries. 5 clicks on the power bar to lock it usually suits my needs. And you can just pop the battery door open to turn it off quickly. Kinda low tech, but it works, lol.

my contrast is set to 100 percent ..its just very dim in sunlight on mine....Yea I suppose that is a fast way to shut it down..lol

Still waiting to go and pick it up. Driving me nuts right now as I missed the mailbox by 5 mins yesterday. Hope to get there tomorrow.

It's finally here!!! What a step up from my old RLX 200 and griffin.

Right nOw I'm just using the stock coil that came installed and vaping around 110 watts. And it's awesome!!!

Ok guys quick mini review (if you can call it that lol)

Things I like:

Price
Airflow and flavour from TFV8 is outstanding
Tank and mod fit each other with no gaps.
Tons of features.
The top fill drip point is made from rubbery silicon to allow your dropper to fit in and fill with no spills.

Things that need improvement:

The opening for top fill can be hard to get on and off.
Threading for replacement atomizers feels cheap and can be difficult to get on unless you're super precise.

Not much of a review but wanted to share my thoughts in case anyone was considering this setup.

Overall all seems well so far.
