At the CBS Upfront presentation today, where upcoming shows are touted to advertisers, a teaser was shown for the new Star Trek series coming to CBS All Access in 2017.
In an amusingly similar scenario to the Krypton teaser NBCUniversal showed this week at their Upfront, there was no actual scenes from the series to debut – the new Trek hasn’t begun filming yet – so, like Krypton, we got some specially made space-set footage.
At the end, as the famous Star Trek original series music begins to play, words on screen say “New Crews. New Villains. New Heroes. New Worlds" before the Star Trek logo appears.
