New to building coils, need help.

I just moved from a kanger subtank mini to an avocado genesis rdta. Im trying to use Demon Killer prebuilt coils with bacon cotton. I chose a single fused clapton that claims 0.45 ohm. Upon install it reads at 0.9 ohm. It keeps jumping wildly every time i hit the fire button on my siegli anywhere from 0.8 ohm to 5.7ohm. The volts keep jumping like crazy also. I started at 30 watts because it was .8ohms but have dropped it back to 25 since it keeps jumping around. What am i doing wrong? Nowhere i can see is the coil touching the deck or the cap. Is it the coils? Please help!

Make sure the post screws are nice and tight and clean your 510s. (Mod and atty)

Try taking off the atty, hitting the fire button and then put it back on and fire again. Some mods are finicky like that.

Mykreign, thanks so much for the sugg. That did the trick! Now its running a solid 0.5ohm at 3.8v and 28watts. My mod 510 threads were very dirty, and the atty pos screw was able to be tightened slightly. Also i tried firing my mod sans atty, and it said check atomizer as per usual. Im not sure what model mod i have. Its a sigelei 100w dual 18650, thats about all i know.

Awesome glad to hear! Sometimes when you instal new coils, the thread will loosen after pulsing them. So I always double check before wicking them.
