just made my first purchase and here are the flavers I picked along with pg,vg, and 100 nic...any sugjestions on what I should mix with these?? Peppermint by FlavourArt

Welcome to DIYing. When I get a new flavor the first thing I do is try it by itself.
I start with a clean/new tank (smoktech RBC) ,and a mix of base (for me it's 45%PG/55%VG)and use drops of juice, 19 drops of my base to 1 drop of my flavor. then I try it for about 10 puffs, If I don't taste anything good I add one more drop making my mix about 10% flavor. Usually 10% is a good amount sometimes 15% is good. You just have to do trial and error method. If I find a good flavor mix I still only make up a tank full and vape it all day to make sure I really like it. Then I usually make up some 5cc bottles and share them with friends and get there input.

That should keep you buzzy for a while

my all day vape is a vanilla mint, so I figured id try and recreate that for sure,..but then I just kinda picked out some fruity stuff to try out and play with,...great idea with the 19 drop 1 drop method...ill definity use that

you will need to pick up some vanillin and some menthol..
those 2 additives will make a huge difference in your mixes..

thx randy,..ive been vaping for almost 5 years now,...been wanting to diy for the last 2 years...ive been reading a lot and watched a lot of videos,..i think the transition from over paying for juice and making my own should be somewhat painless,,,lol


smoky,..is the vanillin just a vanilla based sweetner?..curiuos

vanillin can be used as either a sweetener, enhancer or a flavoring..
depends on percentages used

Just a reminder that Flavor Art flavors are highly concentrated - best to start no higher than 2% when you start to test them!

About 2% each Peppermint and Spearmint make perfect Wrigley's Doublemint gum. (I like 1% each for lighter flavor)
Cherrycakes is totally right with the FA Strawberry + Custard. Excellent combination and needs nothing else.
Maple-vanilla custard with a little graham cracker?

Get stickers and put them on each bottle, or soon enough you will have a forest of unknown bottles.
Another way to start when you don't know the strength of each flavor and don't know which goes well with which, is to make a small bottles of a single flavors, strength to your liking and then try to mix them with each other in a dripper.

And take lots of notes! You might make the best ever flavor, but with no notes you can't recreate it!

Also since you're now a DIY'er, you'll be buying more flavors every week... So... If you like mints, you'll need to get the ingredients for @HeadInClouds White Tic-Tac. Tastes just like a white tic-tac. No foolin.

Cruise through the recipes forum. Take note of the ones you think you'd like and the flavors used. Those prove to be really helpful, and also will add a lot to carts, so be careful, lol. Also..... In the DIY reviews section, HIC has posted up a TON of flavor reviews. I can't tell you what an awesome tool those have been in my own adventures.
