New York
New York by Drops is the last liquid from this range that I'm bringing you. It's a blend of two of their liquids, American Luxury and Fausto's Deal, a combo for the ultimate tobacco lovers and purists. Thanks to Vapeo24 for making this review possible; you can visit their website to learn more about them and the liquid.
According to the manufacturer: The culmination of years of mastery in liquid crafting. The ultimate union between American Luxury and Fausto’s Deal. This alliance of two legends complements the sophisticated and complex nuances of one with the tobacco robustness of the other, creating a balance that until now seemed impossible.
Smell Test: What floods my nose the most is the classic and highly noticeable RY4 scent, a flavor I love and which is present in Fausto, so the caramel smell is clear and comes through very well. The other notes I find are purely tobacco. Right off the bat, just from the smell, you can tell it's going to be a somewhat dry liquid and not very sweet, having just a touch to balance it out.
Vaping Test (Tested on an Oumier Wasp Nano RDA with handmade coils): I perceive a very, very strong tobacco flavor, almost too strong for someone who isn't a big fan of this flavor profile. I can notice some caramel notes, but the predominant flavor leans towards bitter. I can't describe much else because the flavor really boils down to pure tobacco; it's somewhat complex, but I can't distinguish between different types of tobacco, for example. Another thing I notice is a hint of alcohol. The throat hit without nicotine isn't present, but it might be quite strong if we add nicotine.
Conclusion: I think that says it all. If you are a pure tobacco lover and want a pure tobacco flavor with a touch of bitterness, this liquid is made for you. Personally, it's not my thing. I like tobaccos, but accompanied by something sweet.
