First off I am new to vaping I want to buy the eleaf istick tc200w. And two tanks one for me and one for my girlfriend. she is a MTL and i am a DL user. I plan on buying the aspire nautilus mini for her which i hear from here is a great beginner and MTL tank. And the kanger toptank mini which is supposedly a good choice for me. I want to understand a few things first off. The toptank mini comes with 1 x 0.15ohm SSOCC Ni200 Coil (TC) Atomizer Head (Pre-Installed) 1 x 0.5ohm SSOCC Atomizer Head 1 x Mini RBA Deck Plus. What is a good coil out of the three to start with? What is a RBA deck plus exactly? On that note what is a RTA, RBA, RDTA, and all those other ones i keep reading on here? I want a sub ohm tank if you have any suggestions besides the kanger toptank mini let me know. Remember I am a beginner on all this so I don't want to big of clouds yet. I just want a good DL feel like I do with cigs.

An RBA is a rebuildable coil, so you can make your own instead of using factory coils. They are usually small, the size of a factory coil, so fiddly to build and work with. An RTA is a tank that only has a build deck and you have to build your own coil. Because it's designed for you to build the coil, it has a far larger deck to work on to accommodate different styles of coils.
As to which to start out with, you can start with the Ni coil in temp control, and only in temp control. Not healthy to use in power mode.

The NI 200 is for TC mode and the other is for wattage mode. Me I prefer wattage mode.
Like Eskie said, the RBA head is for installing your own coils and wick.
However, installing a coil in it is really not as hard as it looks IMHO. I have multiple RBA heads on hand with new coils and wicks installed so I can take them on vacation and have ready to install in the tank as needed.

you go with what you enjoy the best honestly, the toptank has several premade options, as do many other tanks with prebuilt coils.. the Ni and Ti, and any SS316 will give you TC options.. the best part of TC is the greatly reduced or eliminated risk of a nasty dry burnt hit. Clapton style coils produce more vapor, require more power, and have a longer heat up time. (longer may not be noticeable depending on the power applied) and that is pretty much it on premades, try each and see which you like the best.

I would recommend, if you are leaning in the direction of kanger, you go with the protank 4 instead.. it uses the same coils, comes with a dual coil deck, and can also use (if you choose to buy one) the single coil rba mini

Nice thing about the Topbox is that it can be either DL or MTL, depending on coil. It can be bought as a starter kit, with a 75w mod. Maybe also look at the Atlantis EVO kit, also with a 75w mod, for DL. For a little more power, something like a Cleito or Baby Beast, neither of which needs a mod as big and cumbersome as the iStick 200 TC. The latter 2 tanks have optional RBA decks, sold separately.
I'll toss in a vote for the Smok Alien Kit that comes with the baby beast.. But overall love my Toptank mini and up until yesterday was my all day tank at work
