Edit: I HAVE NEVER MIXED DIY BEFORE..AND REALLY NEED TO GET MY NICOTINE RIVER ORDER PLACED..

(I HAVE BUILT THE ORDER ALREADY..BUT DON'T WANT TO PAY UNTIL I KNOW IT IS CORRECT)..

SO PLEASE.. CAN ANYONE HELP ME FIGURE OUT IF THIS IS HOW TO MIX MY EJUICE?

BC I CAN'T PLACE THE ORDERS UNTIL SOMEONE TELLS ME THAT MY EXAMPLE BELOW IS CORRECT, (OR NOT)- PLEASE..

For my EXAMPLE..if you want to make; 100ml of ejuice, at 2% nic, and 25% flavor concentrate..(off of the top of my head)..

Is this right?-
You would start with 2mg (of 100mg/ml) nic mixture, (which is in a 50/50 vg/pg base.. since that's my normal mix, & I only plan on making my 1 ejuice for a long time),
And then, ADD 25mg of flavor concentrate..
(for a running total of 27mg of liquid in the bottle so far.)
Since 100ml minus 27ml=73ml left..
I would then ADD 73ml of 1/2 vg & 1/2 pg, to complete the ejuice.. RIGHT?

IF ANYONE CAN PLEASE ADVISE ASAP..?

-ALSO, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT WEBSITES/APPS/ ETC., OF HANDY DIY'er TOOLS TO HELP..that would be WONDERFUL!

Here is the calculator a lot of us use New recipe :: e-Liquid Calculator - e-Liquid Recipese-liquid-recipes.com/create

If you open an account, you can save your recipes. It will automatically adjust pg/vg ratios for you based on the amount of nic you are using, etc

Thanks! Someone else on here told me about that yesterday, and I plugged in my recipe last night, after downloading the app, and it is super cool! That makes it so much easier!

I already have my recipe ready.. and my nicotine River order shipped today already, surprisingly, so hopefully I will be able to make my own soon.

Hi! I have a friend here who makes my "mom and pop Vapor Shop" ADV..called "OMG" from the flavor concentrate they sell..and she told me which scale she uses..and I can buy the concentrate, and have some bottles that I can mix right into..but..
-I'm wondering if all VG and PG are the same?
-Do all brands taste/look/act the same?
-Is food grade ok..or do I need pharmaceutical grade to be safe?
-I have the scale and vp & pg (1 quart/ea=$19..food grade) in my cart, to order from Amazon Prime..but wanted to clarify these questions 1st.

Thanks for any help you can give! Dez
Honestly I mix high vg and have tried quite a few. So it being easily accessable and inexpensive I bought CVS brand vg. At the time it had pharmacutical code on the bottle. It no longer has that code on the bottle. But seems to be the same. It is clean, with a nice flavor.

I didn't know there was an app. Is it for e-liquid-recipes.com? Or what app did you get? I don't know much about them and have always used the desktop site in my phone.

I just googled with voice command "Eliquid recipes app" & it came up. The app is very easy. I didn't need directions. I actually have not tried the website yet.

As long as you are happy using it, just know it's not the elr most of us talk about.. :)

Oh, okay. I posted a screenshot in this thread yesterday or the day before of what it showed me in the app for my recipe. If you want to look at it..
I will look at the online site and see what I liked best for the smartphone.

I just tried the website for E-liquid-recipe, and found it was not very user-friendly at all, and the first couple of times that I tried to put in my variables, and click save, it did not save it.. telling me that I had not filled in specific blanks that it never did show me on the screen, and I had to start all over.

I did it again, this time it did not give me the problem about telling me I had not filled in all of the blanks even though I did it the same way), but it told me that it marked my recipe as "private" because it was a copy of another recipe, that it linked me to.

I clicked on that link, and it was a TOTALLY DIFFERENT RECIPE with DIFFERENT PG /VG amounts and different nicotine percentage and different flavor- it was definitely nothing close to my recipe.

I much prefer the app as far as user-friendliness, and it is easier, without giving me these problems.. and I didn't have any problems using it the first time like I did with the online site (on my smartphone).

If you have not tried the app, I think it is much easier for a beginner.. or anyone, for that matter.
EDIT- I just attached a screenshot from the app.

the app is not connected to the actual site elr..
HI! How do you figure cost per bottle when you DIY? I tried the ELR actual website, and I put in the cost of my flavor concentrate.. which is my biggest expense, and it did not seem to change what it told me the cost would be per bottle.
It is saying it would be $0.16 for 120ml eJuice which cannot be right. Thanks!

If you're only making one recipe just use your app. We use ELR because it has tons of features. It saves our inventories, offers information on flavors, has other recipes, and the list goes on and on.

I heard you can do that on a site called All The Flavors. You will probably need to put in all of your cost info after you sign up. Maybe it's possible on ELR too but I haven't cared to look or try.

I never bother with the cost. Doesn't matter to me.. but I do know it runs me, using all flv between .60 30ml and up to 6.00 for a 4oz.
It does depend on recipe and how much of what is added in.

My peach overload recipe was about 157.00 per gallon mix I did. It took me 1 hour to mix it all, no matter the size.

I am also not a big phone user. I do have tablets and laptops so..

9yr twins destroyed my laptop. Lol but soon I'll have another. How long did it take to vape a gallon? I still think that's a good deal. A Gallon is a lot of juice

I didn't have any issue with Nic River around the turn of the year. Are they having to mix the nic or something unusual? I had a day delay on that but only a day.

On the soy issue that was spoken of. Soy can be a huge issue with men and women due to hormonal effects. This I found out whenever my father came down with Prostate Cancer and everything soy related got tossed, immediately too!

I was selling it to a local B&M @MrMeowgi years ago.. The flavors now are discontinued (some) but you can find the recipe here on site.

As far as I know, not many resellers rebottle nicotine. (Cutting it themselves)
I can not speak for Nicotine River, nor have I purchased anything from them other than 2 orders when they first started selling.

That was a one day delay with me. That's what they had said, now maybe that was from their supplier since all of my other orders were shipped out besides this one.

I rarely do nicotine, but I have done nic salt testing for my employer.. so I do not buy nic often.
I do have over a gallon in the freezer if I need it, cut up into 60ml amber glass bottles.

It could be they were low (unheard of, but it happens) and were waiting on a shipment. Who knows?

They more than likely had to wait on their order due to that since it was on an email as mixing more nic. They are awesome with me. Three orders after or right at the New Year in a week. I refuse to complain and about to order another huge one from them as well. They made me happy and earned a customer. :)

As long as you are happy, is all that matters.. :)

I just have no need in ordering from them. I buy direct, or from my lab I work for. Keeps me happy and my cost is low.

You're lucky in that way. I had thought about getting my Dad to buy wholesale, just a thought since he can. :) They seem to be a nice bunch over there.:)

I think I figured up the cost would be about eight or nine dollars there is a place on the ELR app where you can figure cost, but it does not have a place to enter cost for your flavor, though it does have a good place to enter cost for alcohol for some reason? Who would put PGA or alcohol into a vape juice?
EDIT- the $8 or $9 I figured for cost, would be for 4 oz of finished e-juice. it would be mostly because the flavoring from Mom and Pop's is expensive. $33 for 120 ml or maybe even a little more costly with shipping.

I've heard of it. Sometimes too much and have to let the juice breath. But that's been a while

Well, my scale came today, and I thought on the box it said that it came with batteries, and also a plug-in, but it did not come with batteries- (but did come with two 200 gram weights.. so I guess that you can test it and make sure it is accurate)?

It did come with a plug-in though, which is just fine. It is the scale that the person who has been making my juice for me recommended, and I'm so glad she recommended that one.. because it is the one that is noted and used in the section I found last night- (well, I had seen it before but never looked into it, for DIY EJUICE /MIXING BY WEIGHT).

They use the same scale there to tell you how to mix by weight, so I am excited and I have everything except for my big order coming on the 4th of February, from nicotine River.

I guess you could say all I really have, is a funnel, the scale, Flavour concentrate, and some of the bottles - but not all of the bottles that I will need.

I still need nicotine, VG, PG, and some bottles- which should all deliver on the 4th.

I think that this is all that I will need to mix by weight, if someone thinks I am missing out on something, please do mention it.

Thank you!
(I love how helpful this community is!)
