Apple could be beefing up its next-generation Apple Watch.
Sources familiar with the matter told the Wall Street Journal that Apple is adding cell-network connectivity and a faster processor to its next-generation Apple Watch. The WSJ says Apple sold twice as many Apple Watches versus the first iPhone in the device’s debut year. A spokesperson for Apple declined to comment on this story.
At the last Apple event in May, the company cut the price of the Apple Watch to $299 USD (down from the launch price of $349 USD) and announced new nylon bands for its smartwatch.
