For all the pro's what Base % yah'll use to mix your fav recipes..?
As in PG% VG%
I"ve noticed on some sites lately they're mixing it 70PG-30VG or 80-20 50-50 etc
So whats the sweet spot for your base NIC that really brings out the flavor..?
Peace !

Hi @Cid6.7 Welcome to VU, Taste could be subjective to everyone, Some mix 50/50 (PG/VG) some use 65/45 (PG/VG) and I personally like 30/70 even some time 20/80 (PG/VG) depends on what recipe I am mixing.

NIC, mostly we prefered 3 mg ( of 100mg) but again it's depends some like 6mg some even like 12mg. As a new vaper when I quit smoking and moved to vaping I was vaping 12mg.

You start with small batches (if you are mixing you juices) with different combination then you will know what ratio is best for your taste. Thanks

I've only used "100%" VG 36mg Nic anf mix to 6mg and the flavor is "ok" But would like to have my flavors like smack you in the face Holy Sh!t kinda effect lol.
I want a nutty creamy sweet flavor. But I guess the VG/PG % doesn't really matter if your mixing in separate PG/VG for say a 50/50 or whatever.. I also mix @ 30/70 PG/VG.. I thought maybe getting a higher PG Nic base would bring the flavors out more..? Maybe not idk I guess it doesnt really matter if your going to a 30/70 blend anyway..

For flavour, your ohms is going to make a difference. Below ohm vaping (less then 1 ohm). Maximum nicotine for most people is 6mg in a base of 50/50 right through to 100 VG. Personally l like 30PG/70VG with 3mg or 6mg of nicotine for sub ohm vaping. For above ohm vaping you can increase the nicotine and the PG. It is the PG that carries the flavour, but for sub ohm vaping you need and get better flavour with less PG and more VG.

It depends entirely on your taste, equipment, and tolerance! Some people can't vape high VG and vape as low as 20% VG, and others like me prefer at least 80% VG.

Trial and error is going to be your best het here!

If I mouth to lung with a single coil. I prefer 80/20 pg vg 6 mg. I do this in the bedroom, so my beloved can watch tv.

In my man cave I lung hit 30/70 pg vg 3 mg. Lots of clouds and massive flavor. I tried playing with higher percentages of vg. I didn't care for the wicking speed and the flavor was a bit less for me.

I'm running 70/30 VG mainly for flavor, single coil, 1.8ohm, MTL.
Worst case, even most of the sub-ohm tanks will run 50/50 I think.
I just seem to get better flavor with more PG.
