I know this has been posted, asked and answered a ton before. However most posts and information is quite outdated in a rapidly changing industry. Not long ago for example Nicotine River had one or two nic choices, then they had 5, now they have 2.
Most companies seem to have chemnovatic, NR carries it, it's what Heartland uses and what VapersTek rebottles. CNT seems to have a large worldwide presence, found it at Liquid Barn (not sure if this is the brand LB has always carried or if it's just what they carry at the moment). Many seem to sing praises of Carolina Xtracts and I have no doubt they're good but out of my budget at over twice the price of others.
Any thoughts, opinions? Some people don't mind a bit of throat hit with their nic or even enjoy it, my throat can't take it. I've been using a 150ml bottle of 48mg/ml pg based PurNic from NR the past several months and visually it's great. No off odor, it's nice and clear, hasn't changed. I shake it before filling a 30ml dropper bottle I keep in the fridge for current mixing. I shake the 30ml dripper bottle well before adding to recipes. It's not peppery on the front of my tongue or even so much on the inhale really, but there's throat hit and a spicy tingle in my mouth and across my tongue during the exhale. That's mixed at 80/20 and 3mg (double checked quantities using multiple calculators).
Fruit flavors like caramel apple, 4% Pur Country Apple, 1% Cap Double Apple and 2% Pur Creamy Caramel. Not seeing anything there that should be spicy. I even chalked it up to vaping 'fresh' shake and vape but even after a couple weeks and being shaken often the recipe has blended and steeped but still reminds me of chili. The way the spiciness kinda creeps up in the throat and on the tongue, not like 5 alarm chili or anything, just milder moderately spicy chili.
So I'm looking to purchase a larger quantity of 100mg/ml, haven't heard too much personal opinion about CNT nic from LB, heard mixed about the PurNic from NR (some say it's good some don't), same with Chemnovatic some say it's great others say not so much. Looking for fairly flavorless and more importantly smooth nicotine. Any suggestions?
