Nic Salts vs Freebase Nicotine: Which one are you using?

Hey everyone, ran across a clean breakdown from Tidal Vape on the core differences between Nic Salts and Freebase nicotine. Figured it’d be a great cheat sheet for anyone trying to figure out what juice fits their setup:

Freebase Nicotine (The Traditional Choice): Pure nicotine that absorbs a bit more gradually. It gives a much stronger throat hit, especially as you climb past 6mg. It’s highly versatile, working great for low-nicotine sub-ohm cloud chasing (0mg–6mg) or higher throat-hit MTL vaping (12mg–18mg).

Nic Salts (The Smooth Alternative): Nicotine blended with an acid (like benzoic acid) to lower the pH level. This makes it incredibly smooth on the throat even at high strengths (like 10mg or 20mg). It hits the bloodstream much faster, mimicking the quick fix of a traditional cigarette.

The Golden Rule mentioned: Keep those high-strength nic salts out of your high-powered sub-ohm tanks unless you want a massive, unpleasant nicotine rush. Keep salts in low-powered pod kits or MTL setups!
Where do you guys stand? Do you prefer the throat hit of freebase or the fast-acting smoothness of salts?
