Why am I been told to stay away from this stuff?

Just took delivery of some 24g flatwire uk nichrome n80 and a few people saying it was a bad idea but no explanation why?

Please help me before I build?

There is no reason I know of. Nichrome and kanthal are great for builds. Maybe they were referring to the brand you got? Did you get a cheap brand? If that's the case, it could be made with bad additives or something

Considering Nichrome was the very first wire used in atomizers I think it is safe. As long as it is a standard wire type (EG Nichrome 80 or some other standard nichrome variant) and the wire is clean, then vape on.

I always make sure my wire is from a reputable source and it is clean before I use it. I've had some with oil residue on it that I had to work to get clean.

Yeah, I've just built my twin coil 24g 9 wraps on a Tsunami RDA reading 0.34ohms. Think I may reduce a wrap either side as want it a little closer to 0.20 ohms for my mech.

Just remember that is NON TC wire. VV OR VW regulation or unregulated use only.
