nickel build issue

I'm building on a IPV4 Royal hunter clone. For the first two weeks of using the rda the only issue I was having was my IPV telling me it was shorting and needed to be fiddled with to make it connect and fire. That was annoying but I was getting good vapor flavor and huge clouds. I had the coils built at my local shop hitting .056ohms. After two rebuilds after the coils got gunked up flavor was greatly reduced and cloud size went down. I fire at 50j between 220f-320f. My shop hired some new people and I can now no longer get the help I used to get..they hired some stupid people because of their boobs....but anyway! I took a wack at building my own coils to try to fix the small clouds and low flavor. It took a while but I finally wrapped a good, even, build at .086ohms. I made sure both coils were even and spaced well. Well It never got any better so I rebuilt 3 more times within 4 days trying to get it right. Every time I had to set the vape down because the taste was disgusting and cloud production is still pathetic. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I went to another shop and he said it was because I didn't have the same amount of wraps on both posts, so I redid it and some cloud production was restored but still awful taste. I have tried 4 different flavors and still nothing. It gives decent flavor the first hit then crap after that. I just purchased a yihi mini sx and thats in the mail but I feel like this is an issue with the atty and not the mod. So the issue will still transfer even when I get that great mod. Please help. I don't understand what changed. I run 26 gauge Ni200 wire and "cotton bacon" from wick'n'vape. I wrap 11 times around a 3mm screwdriver aiming for a .05 build but it normally comes out around .07-.09.

Try it up around 400°, maybe even 460° with a dual.

220°-320° isn't hot enough.

You have got to be kidding me. Restored vapoe production and flavor......I'm an idiot. I'll vape at this temp and see if the flavor sticks around. Thanks you very much I can't believe if it was such a simple fix that no one at the shops I went to told me about.

It tasted all right but only lasted one day before it blackened at resistance went way up. I rebuilt and now it tastes like crap again.
