I imagine everyone is different. I smoked for just over 20yrs and chewed tobacco for a couple years. The 'buzz' only lasted in the beginning and seemed to switch from one method to another. There was the addictive property of 'needing' a cig or something but it was more calming than a 'buzz'. The buzz only lasted maybe a week or two with cigs (started out smoking 1-2 cigs a day so each one was more potent to my system compared to 2 packs a day when I quit). Eventually the buzz wore off and then I got a buzz when I went back to chew. Different method of intake.
Never really got a 'buzz' from vaping but I'd say like other methods of nicotine intake it's not uncommon for that aspect to disappear. I definitely didn't get a buzz from smoking so no real desire to go back. I wouldn't rely on getting a buzz all the time, that part seems to fade rather quickly with regular use. Meaning you might be chasing something that just isn't really possible.
