Nicotine question

So awhile back I got some 100mg nicotine and forgot to check for vg so it came in pg. This was the only time I had to order any but before I had 60mg vg nic that came with my kit. Well I got it and noticed it was kind of pinkish in color and thought it was weird but maybe the pg did it(I was new at the time).

Just recently one of my friends tried my juice and thought it was at a higher level nic than it was from harsh throat hit (not normal in a 85 vg blend). So I'm thinking maybe there's something wrong with the nic. It just made me think maybe that pinkish color was a sign it was bad and I should have known before.

So is the pinkish color normal/average on some occasions or have should I order some new nic asap?

If it gave throat hit it could just be due to oxidation.
When nic oxidizes it tastes peppery and this can result in a really strong throat hit.
Could be why it's turning pink as well.

It was like that when I got it though, and I never left it's lid off. I drew what I needed then immediately put it back on... Maybe it was oxidized when I got it? No peppery taste though.
