Nicotine strength in aging

I've heard that nic begins to lose its concentration after a select period of time. With the recent fda horse manure, many are considering stocking up or have already begun to. With that in mind, my question is two part. First, how long can nic be stored before it begins to lose concentration (ie say I get a liter of 100 mg and it sits for a year or more). Secondly, at what rate does this concentration degrade at? Does it lose at a constant rate, and how much for how much time?

This largely will determine how much can be stockpiled. Obviously if the strength degrades too much, long term stashes would be a questionable ideal.

First I want to point out something important.
Most generally once NIC starts to age, two things happen.
1. Discoloration - it turns from the clear or pinkish color to a brownish.
2. Bitterness - It goes from a very smooth or tasteless flavor to a harsh and bitter taste.

As far as losing its concentration - does it have a test coming up?
Joking
From my experience it doesn't get weaker, just more bitter or even taste like an ashtray.

I get mine from nudenicotine and from their sites documentations, I should easily be able to store it in the freezer or refrigerator for two + years.
Other than the excellent smooth taste, the lifespan is the other reason I purchase form them.

I've pulled some from the freezer that was there just over a year and compared and noticed absolutely no difference.
Granted, that is simply a taste test, not a chemical breakdown or anything.
That'd be well beyond my area of expertise.
