No Backup Plan

After being in such a rush to get to work this morning, I ran out if the house grabbing my "Precious" on the way and forgetting to grab my case that has my back up tanks with other flavored juices.

I went to show a coworker how easy it was to fill a tank and unscrewed the tank from the base leaving the coil attached to the battery and all the juice I had in the tank hit the floor.

Now without no backup tank, I have to slump down and burn real cigs until I get to the Vape Shop to get a refill. I am saddened Vapers as I was doing so good without these stinking Cancer Sticks.

Has anyone been here and done this? Some helpful ideas are greatly appreciated.

I haven't done it, but there's no shame if you did need to do this. Especially if your just quitting cigs. I'd probably pick up a disposable at a gas station if I had time or else just abstain at this point.

After having OT one night, I learned quickly to keep a charger and a small bottle of liquid in my purse.

Do you have room in your desk at work to keep your back-ups? Just a thought for the future.

I keep a disposable in the car, for those oh crap moments. It's certainly not the best option, but for those moments when you got nothing else it helps alot.

The closest I've come is when both of my ego batteries died at work when I had no charger with me. When I got home, I plugged in a battery and did other stuff for an hour while it charged. My wife was still smoking back then, and I never even thought about bumming a stinky from her. I went over 5 hours without vaping or smoking, and it was much easier than I thought it would be. This was in my 3rd month of vaping. About 11 weeks in...

Not even 2 weeks yet. Tomorrow will be a full 7 days.

Well I asked because I think for the first three or so months into vaping I still felt inside that I was a smoker and I'd say to people that if vaping disappeared I'd just go back to smoking straight away. So you got some leeway I think

Being that Im still relatively young with this, it is easy for me to fall. Just havent planned for situations like the one I had today.

You can pick up NJOY and other cig-a-likes @ the same places that sell the stinkies! No need to bug out or stray off course. They aren't incredibly effective but certainly enough to get you through the day in a pinch and they are highly available.

I can't remember when exactly, but a few months ago I was having dinner and drinks at a friend's house and my SVD and 5ml Vision Victory got knocked over and hit a Pyrex salad bowl. Sheared the tank off at the base like a machete hit it. Saddddd Booosh.

So yeah, I ended up having a few of my buddies cig's 'cuz we were drinking and it just doesn't work out otherwise.

But, I got home and was vaping again. Shit happens. I'm still a vaper...nobody is keeping score.

And, I now have a $10 rubberized plastic Bolt mod with a cheap Aqua RBA on it for going out...pretty hard to kill it and easy to fill with a bottle.

I also bought two more clone versions of my Vision Victory BCC's for like $4 each at DiscountVapers to replace the one I'd broken. So, it ended up working out. :)

I replied to a thread the other day about the importance of back ups. This morning, I knew my battery was at 3.4. No biggie, it's just enough to get me to work, then I'll swap out. My spare is sitting on my charger waiting to be charged.... Shit. Frugally vaping all morning till I can't take it anymore & swap out due my freshly "charged" 3.9v. I'm usually good about immediately charging & usually catch my slip up. Not this time.
