Can the vape wick properly with no air bubbles? Built a 7 wrap flat clapton for my tfv8 cloud beast rta using cottin bacon it seems to taste just fine but i hardly get any bubbles and when i do there real tiny.
I get the same thing with my Serpent mini. Seems to not be an issue. Can the vape wick properly with no air bubbles? Built a 7 wrap flat clapton for my tfv8 cloud beast rta using cottin bacon it seems to taste just fine but i hardly get any bubbles and when i do there real tiny.
Veey goodI get the same thing with my Serpent mini. Seems to not be an issue.
bubbles are bad. They indicate air in the wick, which causes "popping".

as long as the bubbles are not inside the coil. Once they get in there, they are like an egg in a microwave.. POP! lol. (ok more like a balloon.. air heats, expands, and pops)You can have bubbles and no popping
Actually, a properly wicked and primed coil will not produce any bubbles and will wick perfectly. Premade factory coil heads are a bit different. They will produce bubbles if not correctly and fully primed as the juice forces the air out. But as i said, if the wick is properly primed, there is no air IN the wick to be forced out.. hence.. no bubbles.I never get popping and almost always have bubbles. Almost everyone that I know or have seen on reviews use the presence of bubbles to judge whether the cotton is wicking or not.

I was noting premade were an exception since you can't actually see how well your coil is primed. Basically if he is only getting small bubbles or no bubbles, that tells me he is priming his coils pretty much perfectly. He is not dealing with pre-made coils. He is building the RBA on the TFV8
But dont you need air coming in to displace the juice leaving? If it doesent it would create a vacuum would it not? Theres no where else for the air to get in other than through the cottonI was noting premade were an exception since you can't actually see how well your coil is primed. Yeah those grub sceews are crap was one of the main issues with it couldnt tighten them enough without stripping ordered 50 online for 6$ and got a better allen wrench a actual hardened steel one now the crap stainless one that came with. Was more the wrench rounding than the screws. Now i got better screws and wrench. Made a huge differenceIf I may jump in here with you guys but from my own experience with the rba section when I got a lot of popping it was from my build like a zipper coil or just any twisted coil and with the bubbles its from how tightly you stuffed the cotton in the juice wells and how you cut them I thought the 45 degree angle cut was stupid buuuut imo its the best..hope I helped a little bit the tfv8 was my first builder for a while till the grub screws went round so be careful good luck!
Yeah mine did all that to till i got the new screws and made sure the positive post was sitting properly and everything was nice and tight in place. Now she works great dont leak good flavor running a 38 gauge juggernaut coil 6 wraps great flavor no leakage. Was not beong able to get those grub screws right tight was the main thing.I had to throw in the towel on it lol and just get a new atty...it made my ohms jump around hot legs on my coils all that fun stuff but tfv8s are an acquired taste some love them some hate them..
And the juice holes arent huge so i find a bit higher ohn run a .4 ohm at 100 watts. Great flavor and wicks decently quick between puffsYeah mine did all that to till i got the new screws and made sure the positive post was sitting properly and everything was nice and tight in place. Yeah its not bad i find the 38 gauge juggernaut is quite similar to the original coils that it came with which i seem is the best. 6 wrap in using right now gunna try 5 and then 7 some time. Slightly spaced coil not right tight. And minimal cotton just enoigh it dont leak im using cotton bacon. Seens decent to me. Good flavor decent cloud. And off ebay there was a company that had free shipping 25 screws for 3 something. Delevired in under a week i got them. M2.5 x 3 screws is what they are theb just get a rewl allen keyHmmm...might have to revisit the good ole tfv8..I can rebuild her..make her stronger..better

Yeah this site is decent just recently joined aswell its not the absolute best coil the turbo rba but its decent once dialed. I like the tank its not bad sturdy easy to use. And the premade coils and nice the v8 t8 is nice. Poke holes with a pin in the juice ports and yum great flavor and fat cloudsI'm glad I joined this site its been really filling in gaps..I knew threw my tfv8 back in the box for a reason lol..great advise
I think I spoiled myself to much for rebuilt now lol I don't get the satisfaction I have a baby beast with a .15 in it (just wanted the mod but I bought the kit) and it doesn't tickle my fancy like it used toYeah this site is decent just recently joined aswell its not the absolute best coil the turbo rba but its decent once dialed.
