Noob Question

Hello, so i recently upgraded to a Aspire CF SUB battery with Kangertech Sub tank Nano from using a Aspire CF VV battery and a kangertech EVOD 2 dual coil tank. After buying this new set up i figured i'd get better cloud production, but i'm not and my less powerful vape has a bigger hit. So i'm wondering what i'm doing wrong? I've used all the different air flow options and it's just a weak hit. The flavor is good and that's about it.

i have a few questions. what ohm coils are you using with the subtank nano, what ratio pg/vg juice are you using, and also are you taking lung hits or mouth to lung hits? the CF SUB battery will only put out 4.2v max so thats only around 35w with the 0.5 ohm occ heads. wont chuck a huge cloud but you should be getting a decent cloud.

I'm using the occ coils my local shop said it's the only one I can use, but I change the coil from the one that came in it and it's doing better now.

Subtanks have 0.5 and 1.2 ohm stock factory-built coils. I find that with either you need to take a needle and make a couple slight indentations in the wicking to get them working right - then the clouds and flavor really commence. Still not on par with an RDA or a high-power tank like an Arctic or Starre, but still much better...
