Not firing

i have the Cthulhu by Deathwish modz. I have been using it for alittle over 6 months and just recently it has been acting up. Plain and simple the mod is not firing. Ive been using the same build since i bought it. I tried using different rdas and still is not firing. I put the rda on a ohm meter and even my regulated mods and it fires just fine. I made sure 100% that my batteries were charged. And have been scratching my head about since. Any help will be appreciated.

Since it's a mech, I would suggest taking it apart and give everything a good cleaning if you have the tools and skill.
I was having trouble with my Reactor doing the same thing.
I took it apart and cleaned and polished all the parts. Put it back together and works like charm now.
That's the best advice I can give.

Check the contacts. May have to disassemble the mod to clean it. Contacts get dirty and hinder firing of any mechs

Thank both of you. I’ll get to it right now. Anything special i need to use or a paper towel will do?

I use Brasso but i'm sure any other good metal polish will work.
I use micro fiber cloths to clean and polish. I've also used an old T-Shirt before. Paper towels are too flimsy.

Uh, same build 6 months, on a Mech, but doesn't know how to diagnose? STOP USING A MECH! Use a regulated MOD until you understand the device you are using. JMFHO

If you can’t figure out why a mech isn’t making all the connections, you shouldn’t be using a mech. We can’t see anything. You have to take it apart and inspect and clean. If you didn’t know that.......

Thanks for the help. I had no idea that the 2 people from two weeks ago said the same thing. I would have replied if it didn’t work. If you didn’t know that

after cleaning, something to maintain the contact points will help

no-ox-id and deoxit gold are two popular ones

cleaning more than every 6 months is advisable though. I won't put a timespan on it, but just be mindful in future

Thank you. After some looking around one of the contacts were cracked and half falling off that I didn’t even know about. And i tried looking on their website they had replacement contacts but of course sold out. But thank you for the help.

Don't even try using it until it's properly repaired.

You’re new here and we get a BUNCH of new folks that have no business using advanced devices. You might not be one, but your question kind of makes us think that. Hopefully you understand. Good luck.
